DYNAMICS OF SOME EPIDEMIOLOGICAL INDICATORS OF STROKE IN THE DESERT-STEPPE ZONES OF UZBEKISTAN DURING THE PERIOD OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE REPUBLIC

Аннотация
The aim of the study was to analyze the dynamics of some epidemiological indicators of stroke in the desert-steppe zones of Uzbekistan using the example of the Khorezm region during the period of independence of the republic. To achieve the set goals, the "Register of cerebral strokes" of the Khorezm region for 2019 was carried out. As a result, it was revealed: an increase in the average age of patients with cerebral strokes by 4.2 years; decrease in the proportion of stroke patients of working age (up to 59 years) by 10.2%; in men, the age of the highest incidence of cerebral strokes from 45-59 years old shifted to the age period 60-75 years; in the structure of strokes, the share of ischemic strokes increased by 3.1% (reached 84.7%), due to a decrease in hemorrhagic strokes; revealed an increase in risk factors such as hypertension and a combination of hypertension and atherosclerosis by 7.9%; the severity of the seasonality of cerebral strokes increased: in spring up to 39.4%, in winter - up to 31.4%, associated with the influence of the changed climate and meteorological factors on the development of cerebral strokes.
