Abstract
Currently, the main causes of stroke are arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis. Insufficiency of blood circulation in the brain occurs against the background of changes in the structure and system of blood vessels of the brain and, in addition, a violation of the continuity of the blood flow to the brain. Damage to the branches of the aortic arch, most of the carotid arteries is one of the common causes of II. As the degree of atherosclerotic stenosis in the internal carotid arteries increases, the risk of developing type II and transient ischemic attacks (TIA) increases. However, at present there is no complete understanding of the state of cerebral blood circulation in the presence of stenosis in the internal carotid arteries (IUA). At the same time, taking into account collateral blood supply to the brain, the question of whether or not surgical recanalization is necessary in such patients remains open.
