Efficiency of Edaravon in the Acute Period of Ischemic Stroke Depending on Age and Gender

Abstract

90 patients with acute ischemic stroke were examined and treated. Our study confirmed the effectiveness of the drug Edaravone, which was expressed in the positive dynamics of the indicators of the scales for assessing neurological deficit and motor activity by the 14th day (p<0.05) and amounted to 94.4%. The highest effectiveness (100%) was noted in the age groups of 35-49 and 50-59 years. The obtained data indicate the effectiveness of the drug Edaravone in the treatment of ischemic stroke in the most acute and acute periods, in different age groups, regardless of gender.
