HISTOPATHOLOGY OF THE LIVER IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C VIRAL INFECTION
Yuldashev B.S., Abdullayev U.R.
Abstract
This article analyzes the histopathological changes occurring in the liver tissues of patients with chronic hepatitis C virus infection. The study examined morphological changes observed in patient biopsy samples, including hepatocyte degeneration, portal and periportal inflammatory infiltrates, the degree of fibrosis, and intrahepatocellular changes. Special attention was also given to the histological signs of hepatocellular carcinoma development. The obtained results are crucial for assessing the condition of patients with hepatitis C, early disease detection, and determining treatment strategies, highlighting the diagnostic and prognostic potential of histological examinations.
