Annotaciya
Nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting) is a common condition characterized by involuntary urination during sleep in children over 5 years of age, when bladder control should already be established. According to epidemiological studies, the prevalence of nocturnal enuresis is approximately 15-20% in 5-year-old children, 5-10% at age 7, and 1-2% in adolescents aged 15. Persistent nocturnal enuresis in adolescence is of particular clinical and social significance, characterized by resistance to standard therapeutic methods and has a pronounced negative impact on psychosocial adaptation, quality of life, and emotional well-being of patients.
