Abstract

The article presents a review of the literature devoted to early ultrasound diagnostics of renal dysfunction as a method for identifying cognitive disorders in patients with cerebrovascular insufficiency in middle age. The focus is on the relationship between renal function and cognitive impairment, which is associated with cerebrovascular accidents. Modern ultrasound diagnostic techniques, their effectiveness and potential use in clinical practice for early detection of cognitive disorders are discussed. Potential mechanisms by which renal dysfunction may affect cognitive functions are also considered. The article emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cerebrovascular insufficiency, as well as prospects for further research in this area.
