Аннотатсия
The prevalence of Chiari malformation (CM) in the general population ranges from 3 to 8 cases per 100,000 people. In 64–82% of cases, this condition is accompanied by the development of syringomyelia (SM) at various levels. The clinical picture in such patients is formed by manifestations of both CM and SM; however, SM symptoms often predominate, which presents certain challenges in diagnosing the condition and determining the optimal treatment approach.
