Abstract
A review of domestic and international literature over the past 10 years was conducted, focusing on the neurophysiological features of vestibular migraine. It has been shown that activation of the trigeminovascular system, dysfunction of sensory integration, and neurotransmitter imbalance play a key role in its pathogenesis. Clinical manifestations include vertigo, imbalance, photophobia, and phonophobia, which significantly reduce patients’ quality of life. Current therapeutic approaches are based on a combination of pharmacological agents, vestibular rehabilitation, and lifestyle modification, while the use of monoclonal antibodies against CGRP represents a promising direction.
