Аннотация
This article presents the conceptual foundations and expected results of an ongoing study of epidemiological indicators, clinical manifestations and territorial features of parkinsonism in Kashkadarya region. The study is planned to be conducted during 2024–2026 on the material of 250 patients under observation in the neurological departments of the region. The work aims to develop a modern approach to the differential diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, secondary and atypical forms of parkinsonism, as well as to study the relationship between exogenous factors (herbicides-pesticides, heavy metal salts, industrial ecology, nutrition quality), characteristic of the regional conditions, and the development of parkinsonism. According to preliminary forecasts, idiopathic parkinsonism should predominate in the etiological structure, while the proportion of secondary and atypical forms is expected to be higher than the global average. It is assumed that in agricultural zones the relative proportion of toxic and secondary forms of parkinsonism will differ statistically significantly, and the clinical course of the disease in patients will have its own characteristics. The aim of the work is to develop territorially differentiated treatment measures based on the research results.
