INFLUENCE OF CEREBRAL VENOUS DISTURBANCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF BRAIN DISEASES
Ким Ольга Владиславовна
Annotaciya
The role of the venous system in the pathology of central nervous system (CNS) disorders is largely unknown. It is acknowledged that the anatomy venous system has many variations and that these variations do not necessarily reveal pathological findings. A range of extracranial venous structural/morphological, hemodynamic/functional abnormalities have recently been reported. Those abnormalities disrupt blood flow and lead to the development of temporary collateral compensation. Disruption of these compensatory mechanisms leads to diseases of the central nervous system.
