THE DEVELOPMENT AND ROLE OF THE RIGHT TO HEALTH IN THE INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL LAW

Аннотация
The article puts forward ideas about a new emerging branch of the international legal system - international medical law. At the same time, the main institution of international medical law - the right to health - is discussed, its origin, sources, legal nature and significance are studied and clarified. The article also explains that the right to health can be enjoyed by all people, in order to achieve the highest level of health everyone has the right to a healthcare system aimed at creating equal opportunities, the right to prevention and treatment of diseases, access to quality healthcare, healthy childhood, motherhood and the right to reproductive health, the right of the population to primary healthcare, the participation of the population in the adoption of laws and decisions in the field of healthcare. It is further provided that the right to health includes certain freedoms, freedom from unauthorized medical treatment such as medical experiments and research or forced sterilization, as well as freedom from torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
