Features of the Formation and Development of Legislation on Copyright and Related Rights During the Years of Independence of Uzbekistan

Abstract

The article considers the legislative bases of copyright of the totalitarian system, the formation and development of national legislation on copyright and related rights after the independence of the republic. The article highlights scientific and theoretical views related to the peculiarities of systematization of sectoral laws, the processes of adoption of the Civil Code, the role of norms in it, the strengthening of the personal rights of authors and other copyright holders. The views on the prospects for further adoption of the “Code of Intellectual Property” are expressed.
