This article carefully analyzes the legal status of organizational and legal forms that are analogs of limited partnership. Moreover, the article contains regulatory legal acts of the USA, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Japan and the Federal Republic of Germany regulating the legal status of organizational and legal forms of joint activities, which by their legal nature can be equated with the Anglo-American limited partnership. The purpose of this study is to study foreign experience for the presence of forms of joint activities and collective investments similar to the Anglo-American limited partnership. The relevance of this study is due to the presence today of a number of shortcomings in domestic legislation that hinder the development of the investment potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Because of a thorough study, this article presents proposals for reforming the legal status of partnerships in the national legislation in order to develop the investment potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
