ISSUES OF IMPROVING THE PLACE OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE RULE OF LAW INDEX

In recent years, systematic reforms have been carried out in our country to ensure the rule of law, strengthen the legal and organizational legal framework for human rights protection, implement international human rights standards into national legislation, and improve the priority index. Therefore, the article discusses the rule of law index and its importance. Information on the concept of the priority of law and the history of its origin is given. The activity of international rating organizations in determining the priority of law was touched upon. The issue of the current position of Uzbekistan according to international index indicators was discussed. The World Justice Project, an international non-governmental organization, cited the latest indicators of Uzbekistan on all 8 indicators. Opinions were given on how to further improve Uzbekistan’s position according to this index’s indicators.
