CRIMINAL ASPECTS OF THE CRIMES OF PANDERING OR MAINTAINING BROTHELS

Crimes related to the organization and maintenance of brothels, as well as pandering, are serious social problems in the Republic of Uzbekistan. These crimes are provided for under Article 131 of the Criminal Code and have a negative impact on various sectors of society. The author emphasizes that these crimes negatively affect society by leading to the destruction of moral values and an increase in crime rates. These crimes contribute to the spread of sexually transmitted infections, the breakdown of family structures, and the development of the shadow economy, causing problems in the healthcare and economic sectors. The article examines the criminal-law aspects, the objective and subjective sides of pandering and maintaining brothels, their dangers, and the harm they cause to society.
