PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPING THE COMMITTEE HEARINGS INSTITUTION IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN CHALLENGES

Abstract
This article presents a comparative legal analysis of the institution of committee hearings within the parliamentary control system. It examines the theoretical aspects of committee hearings as a mechanism for ensuring the accountability of executive authorities. The international experience of organizing and conducting committee hearings in developed democratic states (Germany, France, Sweden, Georgia, Lithuania, Russia) was explored. When the existing legal framework for committee hearings in the Republic of Uzbekistan is analyzed, there were found problems related to the limited initiative powers of committees. Based on this analysis, innovative strategies for advancing the legal framework of committee hearings have been proposed.
