The article examines the role of promoting road safety, its significance in carrying out activities to prevent road traffic injuries to children. The main directions and forms of preventive measures for the prevention of road traffic injuries in children in foreign countries are analyzed. Attention is paid to the importance of forming a transport culture of road users in Uzbekistan. Also, the problem of traffic-car crimes is in-process examined. An author comes to the conclusion, that in regard to road traffic accidents, caused violation of rules of safety, determining there is the associate, vzaimoobuslovlennaya system: a man is a transport vehicle - road.
