TARGET APPROACH TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF MASS PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of the main directions of research in the development of mass physical culture and sports, widespread adoption of the masses. The need for educational work to improve public health, on the example of student youth, is shown. The role of physical culture is constantly growing in close interconnection with other areas of public life, and primarily with production, is determined by a complex system of laws for the development of economic, social, political and spiritual processes. The use of a targeted approach is proposed, which is characterized by a specific definition of all the variables that make up the process under study. In addition, it is assumed that there is a target, criterion function, the optimal implementation of which leads to the most effective and speedy achievement of the goal. In the complex process of the influence of physical education and sports on a person during a systematic analysis carried out as part of a targeted approach, three conditional blocks-groups of a holistic effect, or performance criteria, such as physical perfection, mental fitness and social activity are distinguished. The given blocks are characterized by index criteria characterizing physical development, anthropometric, clinical, physiological and biochemical parameters. The quantitative characteristic of health is determined by the breadth of the recorded adaptive (adaptive) opportunities, determined by the social environment, physical training, past diseases, constitutional and hereditary and other factors.
