CURRENT ISSUES OF SOCIAL PROTECTION OF VULNERABLE POPULATION - THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED (ON THE EXAMPLE OF FERGHANA REGION)

Abstract
Strengthening public attention to the social sphere in Uzbekistan, providing targeted social protection is one of the main priorities of state policy. In recent years, large-scale reforms have been carried out in our country on the basis of the country's development priorities - the tasks set in the Action Strategy. This article reflects the research paper “Improving the Effectiveness of Social Assistance to Vulnerable Groups,” which addresses the protection of vulnerable groups – older people and people with disabilities through the creation of various benefits. In the social policy of the republic, social protection of the disabled is considered one of the priorities of the state social policy. One of the most pressing problems today is the education and upbringing of children with disabilities who are not covered by education, identifying the objective and subjective reasons for their isolation in such a society and solving problems. The article is devoted to the identification of objective and subjective causes of these problems and their elimination.
