The article is devoted to the consideration of the concept of energy security, which today is a relatively new concept in the circulation of politicians and political scientists. And if until the last quarter of the XX century. The concept of "security" for a state or union of states was associated only with international or military-political security, now it is included in the broader concept of "security". This is due to the growth of man-made consequences that pose a threat to life, which caused the term “security” to be used to refer to various phenomena: from the degree of protection of the state from external invasion to the interpretation of hygiene rules as a means of preventing damage to health by another person. The article draws attention to some approaches in the security division on a scale. For example, the safety of the noosphere, region, state, social group, personality. They propose to conduct a level analysis of security for such sections as: international systems, international subsystems, units, subunits, individuals. In all variants of the classification of safety into subspecies, the place of energy security is imperceptible. In the framework of this article, energy security is considered as an independent section of integrated security in view of the fact that its importance in the structure of integrated security is increasing.
