Жиянмуратова Гулноз, Суюнов Матлаб
Аннотация
This article examines the history of the emergence and development of the sociological approach, which is one of the classic theories of electoral behavior in electoral sociology. The history of the emergence of the first electoral studies has been studied since 1913, when A. Siegfried founded a geographic approach to electoral behavior or "electoral geography". The article also examines the history of the formation of the ecological, put forward by F. Gogel and R. Herberle, "combined" approach of M. Dogan and the behaviorist approach of C. Merriam, G. Gosnell and S. Rice. The sociological approach to electoral behavior has been promoted since the 1940s by the Columbia School of Sociology research group led by P. Lazarsfeld. It also examines the history of the formation of the “genetic model” or “theory of separation” put forward by S. Lipset and S. Rokkan, the theory of the “middle level” formulated by S. Verba and N. Nie at the later stages of the development of the sociological approach.
