Annotaciya
This article examines the survivability of rice plants from the seedling transplanting stage to harvest depending on fertilizer application rates and planting density. The results of the study showed that, when assessing the effect of nitrogen fertilizers on rice seedlings, the treatment with a fertilizer rate of N120P60K90 resulted in relatively higher plant survivability per 1 m² area before harvest. Among the planting density treatments of 1333, 750, and 480 plants/ha, the highest pre-harvest survivability was observed at a density of 750 plants/ha. It was found that an increase in the number of seedlings per unit area led to a decrease in plant survivability up to harvest, whereas an increase in nitrogen fertilizer rates had the opposite effect, improving plant survivability. A strong negative correlation was identified between planting density and seedling survivability (r = –0.93), while a positive correlation was observed between nitrogen fertilizer rate and seedling survivability (r = 0.56).
