Annotaciya

The article presents the results of studying collection varieties of leek (Allium porrum L.) using analytical breeding methods. As a result of repeated individual and family selection, the sample “UGH 223” was identified, on the basis of which a new variety “Excalibur” was developed. The new variety is characterized by early maturity, high yield, marketability, and export-oriented qualities, as well as suitability for cultivation in both open and protected field conditions.
