Abstract
Aeroponics is a soilless plant cultivation technology in which plant roots are suspended in air and supplied with nutrient solution in the form of aerosol. This article analyzes the scientific basis, technological features, and efficiency of applying aeroponic systems in potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) seed production. The study examines optimal conditions for minituber production, including nutrient solution composition, planting density, microclimate parameters, and lighting regime. The results demonstrate that aeroponic technology increases yield by 20–30% compared to conventional methods and enables the production of high-quality, disease-free planting material. Furthermore, this method accelerates seed potato production and improves resource efficiency.
