PROBLEMS OF BARRIER-FREE ENVIRONMENT FORMATION IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
Currently, people with disabilities face many obstacles in the process of obtaining higher education in Uzbekistan. The article analyzes the problems associated with overcoming the obstacles they face – the development of standards to create an unhindered environment, providing information about disability problems to administrative and technical personnel, monitoring the adopted legislation, developing proposals and recommendations for the development of the charter of inclusive education system. The purpose of this article is to identify the barriers faced by students with disabilities, as well as to design proposals aimed at the formation of inclusive education in universities of Uzbekistan. Also, the study of the mechanisms of designing an accessible environment for students. The article presents the results of a sociological study "Creating a methodology for the formation of an independent "barrier-free environment" for students with disabilities", which revealed the need of students with disabilities in universities.
