KOREAN FOOTPRINT IN CONTEMPORARY MUSIC OF UZBEKISTAN: A SOCIOCULTURAL STUDY

Аннотация
This article examines the social aspects of the work of contemporary composers of Uzbekistanin the interweaving of the appeal to the folk song heritage of the Korean diaspora in Uzbekistan. Thestudy of the interaction of Uzbek-Korean cultures is analyzed from the point of view of historicalfactors of development and assimilation of Korean culture in Uzbekistan, as well as by the method ofmusical analysis of the piano rhapsody "Arirang" on Korean themes by Akmal Safarov. Theconducted analysis allows us to identify complex specific, typological and similar features of thesynthesis of two cultures, as a formative source of rapprochement and strengthening of spiritual andfriendly ties of the multinational people of Uzbekistan. The work attempts to demonstrate, using theexample of traditional and modern music of Uzbekistan, the interaction and mutual enrichment ofmusical cultures of various peoples living in the republic, as part of the processes of cultural revival.
