METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF RESEARCHING THE PHENOMENON OF DISABILITY

Аннотация
Various discourses aimed at developing the methodology for studying the phenomenon of disability are currently observed among representatives of the social sciences. The developed methodology and techniques for researching the phenomenon of disability are applied at both global and national levels in societal life. Given this, the purpose of this article is to examine various approaches to researching the phenomenon of disability. Based on the aforementioned purpose, the article reviews methodologies and indicators for measuring the quality of life of persons with disabilities used by organizations such as the Washington Group, World Health Organization, Belfast University, and others. It also examines the processes of developing indicators for measuring the quality of life of persons with disabilities in New Uzbekistan. In this article, using the method of expert assessments, the author proposes a project of indicators for measuring the quality of life of persons with disabilities in Uzbekistan.
