SOCIAL FACTORS OF THE PHENOMENON OF CONSANGUINE MARRIAGES AND BIOETHICAL APPROACHES

This article analyzes marriage between relatives theoretically, scientifically and empirically based on sociological and bioethical approaches. The theoretical part covers endogamy, the kinship system, social reproduction and bioethical principles as a conceptual basis. The scientific analysis comparatively studies the demographic and genetic consequences of consanguineous marriages, international experiences and bioethical norms in health policy. In the empirical study, the attitude of the population to consanguineous marriages, the level of risk perception and social factors determining reproductive behavior are assessed using statistical methods. The results of the study offer scientific conclusions that support raising social awareness of consanguineous marriages and making bioethically responsible decisions.
