STAGES OF PENSION DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
This article examines the stages of development of pension provision. The introduction of the first pensions and benefits, which took place in ancient times, is widely covered. Currently, the system of pensions and benefits in the sphere of social support of the population, reforms implemented in the pension system are being developed. In particular, their significance, the connection of this social support with its historical past are revealed, the right to receive a pension for people with disabilities and old age, as well as the mechanisms of its financing are analyzed. In addition, proposals and recommendations for improving the pension system are developed.
