SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES IN THE SOCIOLOGY OF RELIGION

Abstract
Among the various special fields and branches of the modern system of sociological knowledge, the sociology of religion is of particular importance because of its attention to contemporary problems. Indeed, issues relating to religion and religious beliefs are among the fundamental problems of any society. In particular, in the conditions of our country, these issues are actively studied by the sociology of religion. However, it is worth noting that the sociology of religion as a special area of sociological knowledge in our country faces certain methodological problems in conducting research. In particular, in the sociology of religion, when considering the essence of the category of Islamic rationalism, some misunderstandings arise. Scientific findings to solve these problems are presented in this article.
