Annotaciya
This article presents a comparative analysis of the regional specificities and differences in social capital based on the cultural and societal contexts of the West and the East. The theoretical foundations of social capital and its functional role in systems of social ties, trust, and cooperation are thoroughly explored. The study analyzes how regional cultural and institutional differences influence the mechanisms of social capital formation, the effectiveness of social networks, and resource exchange. Particular attention is paid to the contrast between Western societies, where social capital is formed through individualism and formal institutions, and Eastern societies, where it is shaped by collectivism and traditional networks. This comparative analysis contributes to expanding the theoretical and practical basis for applying social capital in regional socio-economic development strategies.
