Abstract
When growing winter wheat, it’s essential to study the soil and climate conditions of each region, including soil fertility, the type of preceding crop, soil salinity, high temperatures, and the resistance of varieties to diseases and pests. The most important, economically, agronomically efficient, and environmentally friendly methods available today are the selection of varieties based on their biological characteristics and the development of optimal agronomic components for their cultivation (sowing time, seeding rate, fertilization, and irrigation regime).
