Аннотатсия

This article examines the biological and productivity characteristics of industrial hybrids of the mulberry silkworm during the spring season of 2025. In the study, along with the hybrids most widely reared in the territory of our republic, new hybrids specially developed for the Fergana region – Fergana-1 and Fergana-2 were also included. During the experiment, the duration of the larval period, the average weight of larvae, hatching and survival rates, as well as the cocoon yield obtained from one box were determined. The results revealed certain differences among the hybrids in terms of biological and productivity characteristics. Most importantly, the obtained results are of significant importance for selecting highly productive hybrids and introducing them into cocoon production in sericulture.
