Improving Water Resources Management by Digitalizing Water Delivery in Irrigation Networks (the Case of Tashkent Region)
Rahmatullayeva, Gulnora, Murodov, Rustam
Abstract
This article examines issues of improving water resources management through the digitalization of water delivery processes in irrigation networks based on a model approach. A comparative analysis between conventional and digitalized water delivery systems was carried out, and indicators of water consumption, losses, and management efficiency were evaluated. Based on a computational model, the coefficient of water use efficiency was determined, and the possibilities of reducing water losses and increasing the volume of beneficially used water through the introduction of digital technologies were substantiated. The obtained results have practical significance for the modernization of irrigation systems and the sustainable development of the water sector and serve as a scientific and methodological basis for further research.
