Abstract
This article establishes that the use of a remote automatic control system for gates of spillway and emergency drainage structures in reservoirs, as well as monitoring of water levels and flow rates, contributes to improved working conditions, timely and high-quality notification in emergency situations, a reduction in injury rates among workers, increased labor productivity, economic efficiency, and a reduction in the severity of the work performed.
