Abstract
This article examines the problems of heavy metal pollution of irrigated soils under the influence of various factors. It is noted that the distribution of heavy metals in soils depends on the sources of pollution, soil type, the type and form of heavy metal compounds, the amount of mobile heavy metals, the soil particle size distribution, and the type of plants growing and cultivated.
