DESCRIPTION OF THE CLOTHING OF THE TURKISH PEOPLE IN THE WORK “DIVANU LUGATIT TURK” BY MAHMUD KASHAGARI

Abstract
Everyone knows that in the 11th century many areas of science developed widely in Central Asia. The foundations and sources of scientific progress during this period, as well as its social conditions, have still not been sufficiently scientifically studied. One of such works created in the Middle Ages is the work of Mahmud Kashgari “Divanu lugatit turk”. Kashgari is the first researcher of the language, culture, ethnography and folklore of the Turkic peoples. This article talks about the clothing of the Turkic peoples of the X-XII centuries. Important information about women's clothing and jewelry, gazlamas, men's clothing among the Turkic peoples was analyzed with the help of “Divanu lugatit turk”.
