Abstract
Today, one of the important problems in pediatrics is the difficulty in diagnosing and selecting adequate therapy for community-acquired pneumonia in children. The course of community-acquired pneumonia in preschool children depending on vaccine prophylaxis. The most common clinical and morphological form of pneumonia in children at the present stage is focal right-sided pneumonia with a moderate course and localization in the middle lobe (segments 4 and 5 of the lungs). For those who have not been vaccinated, pneumonia is more likely to have a severe course with long-lasting febrile body temperature, severe local symptoms and pronounced laboratory changes. The risk of development and course of community-acquired pneumonia in preschool children who have not received vaccine prophylaxis against pneumococcal infection.
