Food security is one of the most important challenges facing countries worldwide today, and the UN emphasizes the need to improve food production and distribution systems. Ensuring a stable supply of protein-rich food products to the domestic market requires the efficient use of irrigated and rainfed lands, as well as increasing the share of leguminous crops. This article provides a scientific analysis of the effects of sowing dates and planting schemes on the growth dynamics of chickpea varieties. During the study, plant stem height indicators were examined at different growth stages under various sowing dates and planting patterns. The results showed that selecting optimal sowing dates and appropriate planting schemes enhances physiological processes in plants, leading to a significant increase in yield. It is also substantiated that the proper organization of agrotechnical practices is an important factor in improving the efficiency of agriculture.
