Abstract
This article examines the effect of different sowing dates and planting patterns on the biometric characteristics of chickpea varieties. During the study, plant height, the height of the first lower pod attachment, and the number of branches were analyzed in the Zumrad and Malxotra varieties. The results showed that early sowing dates (February 10–15) and a relatively dense planting pattern (60×6 cm) had a positive effect on plant height and the height of the first lower pod attachment, resulting in higher values. However, under these conditions, a decrease in the number of branches was observed
