ON THE DEFINITION OF A COMPLEX SENTENCE AND ITS ROLE IN SPEECH

Abstract
This article analyzes a complex sentence in the Russian language, considering it as a combination of predicative elements with a common meaning and intonation. This study is based on the concept of typified syntactic relations between parts of a complex sentence, including aspects of modality, tense and person. The article draws attention to the connection between complex and simple sentences, highlighting the semantic and structural transformations that the elements of a complex sentence undergo.
