Abstract

This article is dedicated to the study of published and unpublished written business documents of the 17th century – the initial stage of the formation of the Russian national literary language, which remains an important factor in the development of linguistic source studies. They are important factual material in identifying the degree of participation of living folk speech in the formation of the language of the Russian nation, clarifying and recreating a complete picture of the state of the vocabulary of the Russian language in the initial period of its formation.
