Abstract
The article, based on historical sources and historical sources, analyzes the Mamun Academy, which operated during the first Renaissance, the contribution of the scientists who worked there to world science, the place of Khorezm in the history of intellectual heritage. The positive attitude of the Mamunids to the art of music and the activities of scientists at the Mamun Academy in the development of musical science and theory are also analyzed.
