Abstract
In the 1960s, bream, Abramis brama (Linnaeus, 1758), from the Ural River, was introduced into newly created reservoirs of the Kashkadarya River basin (Uzbekistan) to artificially create commercial ichthyofauna. The bream began reproducing and was included in the list of commercial species. In April 2026, biological parameters of bream in the Talimarjan Reservoir were analyzed. The sample (n = 50 specimens) included individuals with a total length (TL) of 22.0 – 34.0 cm, standard length (SL) of 18.1 – 28.0 cm, and total weight (W) of 151.6 – 571.4 g.
