Abstract

This article presents some theoretical aspects of comparisons in the Uzbek language, a study of this phenomenon in world and Uzbek linguistics, the opinions of researchers about comparisons and a reaction to them. Examples of comparisons from ancient sources are also given and analyzed. The parts that make up an analog device and the types of analogs are indicated.
