SOCIAL ISSUES IN THE PRESS OF KHOREZM IN THE 1940S (BASED ON MATERIALS FROM PERIODICALS)

Аннотация
The article reveals the social situation in the Khorezm region in the 1940s by analyzing articles, messages and announcements published in the regional newspapers “Khorezm Khakikiti” and “Khorezmskaya Pravda”, which are regular periodicals of the region. The article analyzes articles related to agriculture, cultural environment, education system, religious issues, and gives priority to the task of revealing the social environment and processes in the region. In the 1940s, also on the eve of World War II, the activities of regional central publications and district newspapers, the order of work, editorial offices, the order of work, problems and shortcomings characteristic of this period were identified. In addition, the issue of the form and structure of periodicals was analyzed.
