NEW PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES TO TEACHING ENGLISH IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
This research examines creative teaching methods for English instruction in higher education institutions within Uzbekistan. The paper addresses the incorporation of technology, learner-centered teaching, and competency-based education as transformative strategies for improving English language education. The findings underscore the effectiveness of these methods in enhancing language proficiency and critical thinking while also highlighting the challenges of implementation. The outcomes offer valuable perspectives for educators and policymakers striving to advance English language teaching in the region.
