MAHMUD ZAMAHSHARI: A LOOK AT THE AREAS OF HIS SCIENTIFIC AND LITERARY HERITAGE

Interest in the study of the scientific and literary heritage of Zamakhshari has its place in world oriental studies and literature. In particular, scientists and researchers have written many works on the biography of Zamakhshari, his scientific activities and works. The scientific heritage of Zamakhshari was the focus of attention not only of Eastern, but also of Western, especially European, orientalists. Zamakhshari's main works relate to the humanitarian sphere of science, including Islamic sciences such as tafsir, hadith, jurisprudence, spiritual education and ethics, sermons and the art of oratory, grammar and linguistics, literature and lexicography, as well as rhetoric and eloquence. Also works on morphology and syntax, poetry and rules of speech, logic and geography, which he left to subsequent generations. As a result of our modest research devoted to the study of scientific and literary heritage, we can state that the number of works of the scientist known today is 96 titles, and they relate to approximately 20 areas of science. Some of his works are also notable for the fact that they touch upon several areas of science.
