ANALYSIS OF SYNONYMOUS WORDS IN HOFIZ KHOREZMIY’S “DEVON”

Abstract
This article analyzes the use of synonymous words in Hofiz Khorezmi’s Devon. The synonymic rows are categorized into Turkic, Persian, Arabic, and mixed lexical layers, and their lexical-semantic characteristics are explored. In addition, the study examines the poetic devices that emerge through these synonyms, including paronomasia, alliteration, antithesis, proportion, and others.
