Abstract

During the 1920s and 1930s, the development of the healthcare system in the Khorezm region marked a significant phase within Soviet reforms. Hospitals and medical stations were established in Khiva and Urgench, with emphasis on preventive medicine and personnel training. The contributions of doctors like A.S. Anisimov, G. Asfandiyarov, and N.A. Samoylova formed the foundation of the system. This period was pivotal in shaping the modern healthcare framework.
